On a recent trip from San Diego to Mammoth Lakes, I began having several significant problems with my 1981 Toyota RV truck. I was able to make it into Ridgecrest, and the A&L Service Center. From the moment I walked in, the folks there were not only fast and courteous, but they were also professionals to the point of perfection. They were able to quickly assess and diagnose several complex problems I was experiencing........I mean within an hour, I knew what was wrong, and how much time and money it was going to cost me. As it turned out, my truck being almost 35 years old, needed parts which wouldn't come in until the following day. My truck is an RV, and so the friendly folks there invited me to spend the evening in a quiet place in the rear of their many service bays........AND, they also generously offered to let me hook into their electricity for the night, as well! The next morning, the parts came in earlier than expected, and I was completely repaired and back on the road in just over an hour! If you are looking for quality service from friendly professional folks, you need not look further than A&L Tire and Service Center. Five stars, no question!

On the road came in with a questionable spare had about 4 hours of drive to destination got turned around in no time and back on the road. Professional and knowledgeable staff.

I have grown up in this valley and watched businesses come and go but the down home, work hard, honest, friendly people at A & L Tire stand out as a great example of a small town business that puts customers first! The willingness of this team to go above and beyond is evident daily. They have service trucks on call 24/7 and are always ready to help. Their prices are always reasonable and fair and work is done in a very timely manner!! A & L was recommend by both the Highway Patrol and the Tow Service. After getting a inner rear tire blow out on my RV, 26 miles south of Ridgecrest. Although I arrived at 3:30p, and they closed at 4:00p, they did not rush, they did a real quality job replacing all 6 tires. Thanks A&L Tire.

I was on my way out of town for the last time when my battery went dead. The AAA technician recommended A & L as the only place still open on a Saturday afternoon. They were extremely helpful, took care of me first thing Monday and I was on my way. THANK YOU! The rates were very fair also. They have my recommendation.

Love the service! My tire pressure light came on due to cold weather. The guys at A&L Tire performed an inspection and inflated the tires to the right pressure. They didn't charge me anything. Who says there's no free lunch?

A gift in the desert. We blew a tire in the Mojave Desert on Labor Day top weekend. Oh no!In a span with no cell service and my hot spot nonfunctional too. We limped as far as we could when a Good Samaritan helped changed to our spare and on into Ridgecrest we went. Thank you Baby Jesus for the Samaritan!There on a hot top weekend we found A&L tires. Not only open and air conditioned, but oh so friendly and glad to help out. They even recommended a tire called Fuzion, not the most expensive (which we would have bought being on a long road trip) but turns out the best bet for getting you where you need to go. The scrumptious hand made tortillas next door made the wait even easier. They were done in an hour, 4 new tires and one marriage saved. They will be open on the top Monday too.

Can't say enough about my new friends at A&L Tires! We were on a family vacation, rented an RV in San Diego and heading to a campsite north of Mammoth. 20 miles past Ridgecrest at about 10 AM we had a blow out (go figure). The super helpful Highway Patrol Officer who stopped within minutes of the blowout told us that A&L was open Saturdays so we called. We "limped on down the shoulder on the rim", rolled into A&L, and within the hour they had us back on the road. Everyone involved hustled, and treated us like guests as was mentioned in another Yelp, which was awesome and we don't live anywhere near Ridgecrest. Highly recommend A&L!!!!
