We were taking a new-to-us 40' flatbed gooseneck trailer from Yucca Valley up to Gerlach, Nevada (over 800 miles) and north of Victorville on the 395 it became apparent that the trailer's brakes weren't doing their job. It wasn't obvious, as our truck is pretty strong and the trailer was empty. Once we got north of Victorville, we did smell the brakes, so we decided to keep going to Ridgecrest, there was a good tire shop there that had helped me out before. We were trying to figure out if it was a straightforward problem that could be fixed quickly, or if it was more involved. Dori and her crew started taking a look, in the hundred degree plus weather and figured out pretty quickly though the drum brakes and electrical both have problems. It was a Friday afternoon, so well he said they'd be happy to start on it and even work on Saturday, the chances that we wouldn't need parts were very low, and said parts would have to be ordered on Monday and wouldn't arrive till Tuesday. Basically we were looking at having to stay there four days to fix it, which wasn't possible for us. We took this critical information and headed home, and they we're kind enough to not even charge us. In a nutshell, this is a shop you can trust, they really know their stuff and take seriously their responsibility of public service to keep peoples' vehicles going. They're available 24 hours a day, and everyone's super nice, especially Dori!
Thank you for the great review, Bill! It is an honor to have your trust and recommendation!
